U-Wrench Policies/Procedures

1. Minimum charge for rental is now 1 hour ($40)

2. Rental time now works in increments of 15 minutes, and is rounded UP

3. After hours policy : $5.00 per minute after 5:00 PM

4. On hand mechanic help is still available, but at a charge of $2.00 per minute because our time is normally worth $130/hour. This will be billed on a case by case basis (no we will not charge you to point at something or give you advice) We reserve the right to refuse this at any time.

5. We no longer offer flat bay rentals. Save your back, use a lift. 

6. A $15.00 cleaning charge will be applied to the final bill if your tools OR bay are left excessively greasy, oily, or dirty. Please leave the facility and tools in the same condition they were prior to your arrival.

1. Liability waiver and shop policy form must be completely read and signed before entry into workspace
2. No entry into workspace, through any entrance, without permission
3. Proper safety equipment must be worn at all times in the shop, eye protection is highly recommended (other safety equipment strongly recommended)
4. All customers renting a lift must read lift safety and operation instructions to prevent any possible damage or injury in workspace
5. Closed-toed shoes are mandatory to enter the shop (sleeved t-shirts/pants are highly recommended)
7. Three person limit per bay, those not working must leave workspace
8. Horse-play and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated in shop
9. No children under the age of 18 allowed into the shop without parental consent and supervision (No children under the age of 16 allowed inside the shop)
10. Customers are encouraged to bring their own tools, rental tools must be checked in and out at the tool crib (Tools should only be used as intended)
11. Customers are responsible to pay the replacement cost of lost, broken, or stolen tools
12. Before exiting the shop ensure bay is clean and free of debris for final inspection by employee
13. Emergency exits are clearly illuminated with red "Exit" signs, please make yourself aware of their locations upon entering workspace
14. Vehicle's cannot enter or exit workspace without employee approval
15. Customers responsible for paying the hourly rate from the time the vehicle is pulled into the workspace to the time the vehicle leaves the workshop
16. Customers cannot work on their vehicle outside of the workspace on premises.

We offer lift and paint booth rentals to all customers. The lift and paint booth rentals are a first come first serve basis. Reservations are available, but must be prepaid and are not refundable. Lifts are $40.00 an hour, tools are available at $5.00 an hour extra, which allows access to the entire tool crib. Customers are more than welcome to bring their own tools. The paint booth is available for rent in half-day ($140) or full-day ($200) increments. We offer paint guns for rent and proper PPE equipment for purchase. Customers must have on proper attire in order to enter the shop, otherwise they will not be allowed to rent.
All customers must read and sign liability waiver, shop policy form and lift safety sheets. Customers must be 18 or older in order to enter the shop (No children under the age of 16 allowed inside workspace, 16-17 must be accompanied by an adult)

Lift Reservations
Lift reservations must be pre-paid and are not refundable. We require a minimum of one hour for a lift reservation. Any additional lift time used (after your reservation), will need to be paid before backing your vehicle out of the lift bay area. If you do not use the full time you set your reservation time for, the remainder is non-refundable. There is a 15 minute grace period after your reservation time, if you do not arrive before the end of the 15 minute grace period, the lift will be given to the next person in line, and you will be next in line for a lift once you arrive. 
*To reschedule or cancel a reservation, you must  give us a 24-hour notice. (If your reservation falls on a Wednesday, we must still be given a 24-hour notice on Monday/Tuesday. You can do so by leaving a voicemail, email, or messaging us on Facebook/Instagram)*

Paint booth Reservations
Paint booth reservations must be pre-paid, and are non-refundable. Half-day reservations are available for two time slots;
(8:00 AM - 12:30 PM)
or 
(12:30 PM - 5:00 PM).
If you reserve for a full day in the paint booth, the reservation time starts at 8:00 AM and ends at 5:00 PM. For full day reservations, there is a two hour grace period (until 10:00 AM), if you do not arrive before the end of the grace period, the paint booth may be forfeited and will not be refundable/rescheduled. Be on time and have your car fully prepared for paint. There is no sanding allowed on the premises.
